Braised Fresh Cucumbers

4 Cucumbers, peeled & thinly sliced (about 6 cups) 96 cal 4.8 protein
3 slices Bacon, diced 129 cal 9 protein
1 tsp. Sugar 11 cal 0 protein
1/4 tsp. Splenda 1 cal 0 protein
1/8 tsp. pepper 0 cal 0 protein
1 tbsp. Cider Vinegar 3 cal 0 protein

1) In a bowl, layer cucumbers and sprinkle with a little salt. Add a little cold water and refrigerate, covered, for 30 minutes.
2) In a large skillet, saute bacon until crisp; drain well; add thoroughly drained cucumbers and remaining ingredients; stir to mix well.
3) Cook, covered over low heat for 10 to 12 minutes.

Makes about 6 servings.
